Overview:
Located in the Perth Cultural Centre, the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA) provides both an exciting and diverse range of contemporary art exhibitions and performances in a large heritage building, in close proximity to the state gallery, museum and library.
The Perth Cultural Centre is located just north of the Perth Railway Station and links the city with the Northbridge cafe, restaurant and nightlife area.
Entry to the gallery is free, with the visual arts program changing every six weeks. The gallery aims to highlight some of Western Australia's best contemporary artists in context with national and international touring exhibitions. The performances space program varies from experimental music, to theatre, to contemporary dance.
PICA's Fuel Cafe provides snacks, a licensed bar and a place to relax and unwind within the Cultural Centre. The gallery is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 1100 to 1900 with Fuel trading until late.

Access by Car: Convenient parking is available in the Francis Street Carpark under the state library which has access to the Perth Cultural Centre.
Public Transport Access: The Perth Central Railway Station and Bus Depot are close by.

Open Times: 1100 to 1900 Tuesday to Sunday (Closed Mondays and Public Holidays). Perth Intstitute of Contemporary Arts will be closed from 25 February to 6 June for installation of disabled access.
